Investment Philosophy

MCC’s primary focus is the acquisition of office, life science, medical office and mixed-use properties in the major commercial markets west of Denver. The firm invests in relatively few, relatively large assets with value created through MCC’s focused and best-of-class property and asset management, leasing and development skills in combination with its institutional partner resources.  MCC sources short and long-term risk-adjusted opportunities including major redevelopment projects, assets with significant near-term rollover, sizable vacancies, poor management, significant deferred maintenance and select ground-up developments. Additionally, the firm invests in partnership interests or debt positions that could ultimately lead to the ownership of assets.
